- Agafay is a stone desert 45 minutes away and perfect for day trips, dinners and camps. The Sahara dunes at Merzouga and Zagora need a multi-day trip, usually 2-3 days.
- What is included in a desert trip?
- Most include transport, dinner, camel ride or quad session, and sometimes breakfast or a night in a camp. Always check whether the camp is private, luxury or shared.
- Can you do a desert trip in one day?
- Yes, Agafay and Palmeraie trips are easy day trips. The real Sahara dunes are too far for a comfortable return day trip from Marrakech.
